Transform your theories into technological revolutions!
Are you a student with an innovative project gathering dust in your drawers? Do you want to pit your research against the realities of the field and industry? The Innov’Phy competition is opening its doors to you!

The Challenge
We are looking for bold projects that apply the principles of physics (optics, materials, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, electronics, Arduino, etc.) to address tomorrow's challenges: sustainable energy, healthcare, transport, and more.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to students (L1 SM, L1 Quantum Computing, L2 Physics, L3 Physics, M1 and M2 in Physics) either solo or in teams (maximum of 3 students per team). Whether your project is a functional prototype, an advanced numerical simulation, or a theoretical proof of concept, your place is here.
Why apply?
- Visibility: Present your work before a jury.
- Mentorship: Finalists will benefit from a tutor from the physics department.
Timeline for the 2026 Edition:
- Submission of applications: Until 01/11/2026 – A 2-page abstract describing the physics principle and the targeted innovation.
- Grand Finale: "Pitch & Demo" presentation around 16/04/2027 during the physics department's open days or on the occasion of Knowledge Day.
